her fractured heart mending.
She daydreams of the past;
of the stories which could have been,
and the promises she should have kept.
Those times are so far away now,
and her journey forward is a lonely one.
However, this loneliness is welcomed;
there is a freedom to it she adores.
Her future is her own.
The open sea her home.
